Earthworms Prefer Living Matter

Here's an interesting article from BBC Earth News. Scientists have discovered that earthworms eat seeds and seedling as well as dead matter. Earthworms have long been thought to be soley beneficial as they convert dead matter to nitrogen rich soil but the new findings suggest that they may actually be causing some harm to local plant life. Its an interesting discovery that may still have future implications.See More
